Victoria specialises in high-rise facade consultancy. Her unique perspective is a product of ongoing research and years of hands-on experience, inspecting facades by abseil, and from building maintenance units.
Facades are often one of the most neglected and misunderstood parts of a building. Victoria’s experience allows her to understand what different systems need to perform at their best. Her knowledge of abseiling also allows her to appreciate the complexities of maintaining and repairing high-rises.
Victoria’s inspection methods have evolved over time. These days she applies her experience and expertise without abseiling. Having an established working relationship with some of NZ’s leading abseil facade contractors, Victoria is able to partner with abseil teams when a hands-on inspection is needed. Using video technology, Victoria is able to direct and participate in the inspection processes from the ground, whilst receiving live feedback from the abseil team.
